Amazon Video Store is a digital video rental and purchase service offered by Amazon.com. It allows users to rent or buy movies and TV shows in both standard definition (SD), high definition (HD), and ultra-high definition (UHD) formats.
To access the Amazon Video Store, simply go to Amazon.com and click on the “Prime Video” tab. From there, you can browse through the various categories of movies and TV shows available for rent or purchase. You can also use the search function to find a specific title you are looking for.
Once you have found a movie or TV show you want to watch, you can choose to either rent or buy it. If you choose to rent, you will have a set amount of time (usually 24-48 hours) to watch the video before it expires. If you choose to buy, you will own the video and can watch it as many times as you like.
Amazon Video Store also offers various deals and discounts on movies and TV shows, as well as the option to subscribe to various channels and streaming services. Additionally, Amazon Prime members have access to a selection of movies and TV shows that are included with their membership at no additional cost.
Rented titles stay in your video library for 30 days from the date of the rental. However, once you press play on the rented title, you have at minimum 48 hours to finish watching it. Some titles have longer viewing periods.
To rent movies on Amazon, follow these steps:
Note: Selecting More purchase options presents options to purchase content in different playback quality.
Keep in mind that the rental period starts as soon as you start watching the movie, so be sure to start it when you have time to watch it all the way through within the rental window.
