Netflix is a widely used video streaming service accessible on various platforms, including phones, tablets, desktops, web browsers, smart TVs, media players, game consoles, set-top boxes, and Blu-ray players. It offers the flexibility to cancel your account at any time. To assist you in this process, here’s how you can cancel your Netflix subscription on your TV. Additionally, you can also unsubscribe from Netflix using your mobile device or desktop.

How to cancel Netflix on your TV

To cancel your Netflix account on a Smart TV, follow these steps. It’s a simple process, but you’ll need to use the web browser on your Smart TV to access the Netflix website, as the Netflix app on TV doesn’t offer the option to cancel your membership.

If your Smart TV doesn’t have a pre-installed web browser, you can simply visit the app store on your TV and download a web browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Use the web browser on your Smart TV to visit the Netflix website(www.netflix.com) and sign into your account.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner and choose Account. (Or you can skip step 1 and directly go to www.netflix.com/YourAccount on your web browser.)
  3. Choose Cancel Membership under the MEMBERSHIP & BILING section to cancel your Netflix subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation.

Make sure that you see a confirmation that your subscription is successfully terminated. After canceling, you won’t be charged for the next billing cycle, and you’ll continue to have access to Netflix until the end of your current billing period.

Keep Netflix downloads after canceling your subscription

Netflix allows ad-free plan subscribers to download TV shows and movies to specific devices via the Netflix app. However, once you cancel your subscription, these downloaded titles become unavailable. Nevertheless, with Pazu Netflix Video Downloader, you can download content from Netflix using both ad-supported and ad-free subscriptions, and enjoy it offline on various devices even if your membership is no longer active. This way, you can have continued access to your favorite Netflix titles even after your subscription has ended.

Pazu Netflix Video Downloader is a desktop program for Netflix users to download Netflix videos without the Netflix app. It can bypass the DRM from Netflix and download movies and TV shows from Netflix to MP4 and MKV. The converted files can be preserved in high quality as 1080p after a fast download process, with subtitles and audio tracks kept 100% the same as the original video. This means you can easily transfer and enjoy the downloaded files on any compatible device of your choice including your smart TV.
