Hulu, which launched in October 2007, is a popular video streaming service with a library of films and television series from networks such as ABC, NBC, or FX Networks, as well as Hulu original programming. As of 2021, the service has more than 42.8 million subscribers, which makes it one of the top six streaming platforms in the United States, alongside Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max and Peacock.

Hulu offers a ad-supported plan for $6.99/month. The ad-free plan costs $12.99 a month and allows offline playback on mobile devices. The biggest difference from other streaming services is that along with its streaming service, Hulu also offers a live TV plan, Hulu+ With Live TV, that includes more than 75 live TV channels, such as ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. The most expensive option costs $75.99 a month and includes Hulu(ad-free), Disney+ streaming content, ESPN+ live sports, and the ability to watch and record live TV. HBO Max, Showtime, Cinemax, and Starz are all available as add-ons.
