1. Hulu app on smart TVs
LG TV and Blu-ray player
The Hulu app should come pre-installed on supported LG TVs and Blu-ray Players — all you need to do is log in to start streaming!
Samsung TV and Blu-ray player
Press Home on your remote to access the Smart Hub
Select Apps, then search for “Hulu” using the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process
Sony TV and Blu-ray player
Navigate to the Video section of your Xcross media bar
Scroll down to the green Hulu icon
Select and Download the Hulu app
TiVo
Navigate to TiVo Central > Find TV, Movies, & Video > Hulu to find the app. Once you’ve opened it, just log in to start streaming.
Android TV
If the Hulu app was pre-installed on your Android TV, simply log in to start streaming. Otherwise, follow the steps below to download the app:
Open the Google Play Store
Search for the Hulu app using the left-side navigation panel
In the overview section click the Download button
Once the installation is finished, click Open to launch the app
Hulu app is pre-installed in 3rd generation Apple TV model, just log in to get started. On newer models (4th generation and higher), you can follow the steps below to download the app:
Open the App Store
Select Search and enter “Hulu”
Select the Hulu app
To begin downloading, select Get and enter the password for your Apple ID, if requested
Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
Select Search from the top of the main menu sidebar, and enter “Hulu” (by voice or text)
Navigate to Apps & Games to find the Hulu app and access the Download option
After the download is complete, the Hulu application will then appear on your Apps page
Roku and Roku Stick
The Hulu Channel will automatically appear on many Roku devices, but if it doesn’t you can follow the steps below to install it:
Go to your Roku Home Screen by clicking the home button on your remote
Navigate to the Roku Channel Store
Scroll down and select the Hulu Channel
Select Add Channel to confirm
Chromecast
To cast Hulu from your iOS and Android device:
Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
Open the Hulu app and tap the show or movie you’d like to watch.
Tap the Cast icon at the top of the player window and choose your Chromecast from the list.
To cast Hulu from your computer:
Connect your computer to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast
Go to Hulu.com and click on the show or movie you’d like to watch.
Click on the Cast icon at the bottom of the player window and choose your Chromecast from the list.
3. Gaming consoles
Nintendo Switch
Visit the Nintendo eShop
Go to Search, and enter “Hulu”
Select the Hulu app from the search results
Select Download
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process
PlayStation 3
From your PlayStation 3 main menu, go to Games
Navigate down to the PlayStation Store
Go to Search, and enter “Hulu”
Select the Hulu app
Move your cursor and select Download
Follow the prompts to complete the download
PlayStation 4
Navigate to the PlayStation Store from the main menu (XMB)
Go to Search, and enter “Hulu”
Select the Hulu app
Move your cursor and select Download
Follow the prompts to complete the process. The Hulu application will then appear on your lower XMB crossbar.
Xbox 360
Navigate to the Apps section
Select the Hulu icon
After the installation is complete, the Hulu app should launch automatically
Xbox One
Navigate to the Store section
Select Search, and enter “Hulu”
Select the Hulu app from the search results
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process
4. Airplay
You can use AirPlay to stream Hulu to your supported Apple TV (3rd generation and later) or TVs that support AirPlay using the latest mobile app on supported iPads and iPhones.
To AirPlay Hulu from your iPhone and iPad:
Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV.
Open the Hulu app and tap the show or movie you’d like to watch.
Tap the AirPlay icon at the top of the player window and choose your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV from the list.
5. Chromecast
You can cast Hulu to Chromecast-enabled TV.
To cast Hulu from your iOS and Android device:
Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast
Tap the Cast icon at the top of the player window and choose your Chromecast from the list
Open the Hulu app and tap the show or movie you’d like to watch
To cast Hulu from your computer:
Connect your computer to the same Wi-Fi networkas your Chromecast
Go to Hulu.com and click on the show or movie you’d like to watch
Click on the Cast icon at the bottom of the player window and choose your Chromecast from the list
