The Afterparty is an American murder mystery comedy television series created by Christopher Miller that premiered on Apple TV+ on January 28, 2022, with the likes of Tiffany Haddish, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou and Ben Schwartz leading The Afterparty cast. In March 2022, the series was renewed for a second season which is set to premiere on April 28, 2023.
When a high school reunion’s afterparty ends in the host of the after party – pop star Xavier (Dave Franco)’s death, everyone is a suspect. Each episode tells what happened that night in “a different character’s perspective”.
The eight-episode series is executive produced by Miller and his filmmaking partner Phil Lord, who created films like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs(2009), The Lego Movie(2014), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse(2018) and shows like The Last Man on Earth(2015–2018).

They are joined by Parks and Recreation’s Ben Schwartz, Strangers star Zoë Chao, Suicide Squad’s Ike Barinholtz, Broad City’s Ilana Glazer, Now You See Me’s Dave Franco, Search Party’s John Early and Stath Lets Flats star Jamie Demetriou.
